Retired Estate Agent Nigel Pontin and his wife, Carin have just moved into their brand-new home at Baker Estates' popular Bee Meadow development in South Molton and still can’t believe the ‘amazing’ views which greet them every day.
The couple, who bought a three-bedroom bungalow with a double garage from the award-winning South West housebuilder, fell in love with the property the minute they set foot through the door.
Nigel said: “We were living in a bungalow nearby, but the area got very built up, so we wanted a quieter location. We spent six months looking for a property that was right for us but couldn’t find anything that suited. Eventually we viewed the Primrose bungalow at Bee Meadow and the view immediately sold it to us. We can see for 20 miles, it’s just amazing! We can’t get over it, and there is so much to look at.”
Carin added: “We just love admiring the views. We are looking forward to spending more time in the garden in the Summer and watching the sunsets which will be spectacular.”
Nigel, who worked as a local Estate Agent and national housebuilder New Homes Manager for over 30 years in North Devon, has seen hundreds of properties over his career and very highly rates Baker Estates’ Bee Meadow development.
He said: “It’s a well-designed development, with an inviting entrance and everything is well thought out. Our home has everything we want. It has a separate utility area; beautiful flow downstairs and all the rooms maximise the views. Baker Estates has taken the time to design the homes to suit the orientation. The finish is also better than anything we have seen. Overall, it’s a great package of everything we wanted, and we are delighted.”
Carin added: “With years of experience, Nigel is a bit of an expert on property in the area and was impressed with the bungalow from the start. We couldn’t have designed our home any better ourselves!”
