New resident moves into her 'forever home' at Trayne Farm

For Sally Bond a move to Trayne Farm in Pilton, Barnstaple is a move to her ‘forever home’ with the location, home design and high-quality build at the Baker Estates’ development proving a winning combination.

Sally, who is retired, has moved into the new development with her three grown-up children and says she couldn’t be happier.

“I love our home and the position on the development,” said Sally. “A big benefit is the low maintenance of a new build and knowing that everything is new, and I won’t be needing to decorate or change a kitchen or bathroom,” she added.

After renting for many years Sally’s landlord wanted to sell – prompting her to get back onto the housing ladder. Just 48 hours after looking at the four-bedroom Chestnut design, Sally had paid her deposit and looked forward to her forever home taking shape.

“I have lived just a few miles away for the last 18 years and wanted to stay in this area,” added Sally. “I visited the development and knew this was the house for me. I didn’t want to miss out on this design so made a quick decision and we are really settling in now.”

This stunning development is not only situated close to the town centre of Barnstaple with its wide selection of shops and restaurants but also some of North Devon’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Sally says the family are now putting the finishing touches to their new home with furnishings to complement the high-quality Baker Estates finish. “The house is light and airy which we love, and this is definitely my forever home.”

Homes at the development have proved popular with buyers looking for a rural location with the quality and style of Baker Estates.

“We’re delighted that Sally and her family are settling into their new home and loving the lifestyle at Trayne Farm,” said Annie Williams, Head of Sales at Baker Estates. “Trayne Farm appeals to a wide range of buyers and just a handful of homes now remain.”
