Little Cotton Farm’s first resident is guest of honour at official opening of Show Homes in Dartmouth

Jason Elder was delighted to accept the invitation from Baker Estates to open the new show homes at Little Cotton Farm in Dartmouth. Joined by Managing Director Ian Baker and Annie Williams Head of Sales at Baker Estates, to cut the ribbon and officially declare The Gardenia, a stunning five-bedroom home and The Bluebell, an outstanding three-bedroom home, open for visitors.

Jason was the first buyer to reserve off-plan at Little Cotton Farm, the latest flagship development for Baker Estates.

He said: “I feel very privileged to open the Little Cotton Farm show homes. As an engineer, I have been watching with interest during the build and I have been very impressed by everything I've seen so far.”

Jason, who has lived in the town for 10 years, added: “Baker Estates has done a wonderful job. Little Cotton Farm has everything: a great location, excellent views, lots of natural sunlight and the homes are modern and stylish. Inside they are very cleverly designed, spacious and the interior design is stunning. There’s also plenty of parking which is a big positive in Dartmouth.”

Not surprisingly, the homes have generated considerable interest from locals as well as people living in the wider county.

Ian Baker, Managing Director at Baker Estates, said: “We were delighted that Jason could join us to open our new show homes. This is a major milestone for us at Baker Estates and we are very pleased with the feedback received.”

The first phase at Little Cotton Farm consists of 24 homes of which 17 have been sold off-plan. Baker Estates’ Head of Sales, Annie Williams, says potential buyers can see for themselves what a great development it will be.

Annie said: “Visitors can now appreciate the quality of build and materials we use as well as seeing, first-hand, our superb interiors. We look forward to meeting interested buyers and matching their requirements to find their dream home.”

“We are proud to be building another stunning development in the South Hams, all of which have proven to be extremely popular with local people.”

There are spectacular views from many of the homes, offering both coastal and countryside vistas for many miles.

The development is the first major new homes scheme in Dartmouth for 20 years and will comprise of 2,3,4 and 5 bedroom homes, including traditional houses and bungalows.

Baker Estates says that being just a short distance from the town centre and waterfront, Little Cotton Farm, on Townstal Road, is already appealing to first time buyers, second steppers, families, and downsizers alike.

All viewings are by appointment only and potential buyers are being urged to get in touch to avoid disappointment.

3 and 4 bedroom homes are available with prices starting from £364,995.
