Councillor officially opened ‘outstanding’ new development in Barnstaple

Councillor Ian Roome officially opened award winning housebuilder Baker Estates’ new Trayne Farm development in Pilton, Barnstaple. The councillor was given a tour of the development and commented on the quality of the show home being ‘outstanding’.

It was also the perfect opportunity for potential buyers to see the Honeysuckle, a fabulous four-bedroom home with a large, landscaped garden and double garage as well as a beautiful master bedroom and kitchen ideal for entertaining.

This stunning new development is not only situated close to the town centre of Barnstaple with its wide selection of shops and restaurants, but also to some of North Devon’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors will now be able to appreciate the quality of build and materials of Baker Estates’ new homes as well as seeing first-hand the superb interiors.

Trayne Farm is close to the North Devon District Hospital and Baker Estates is offering NHS workers a special home buyer package which includes fitted flooring throughout, fitted wardrobe to master bedroom and an integrated washing machine.

Buyers will have the choice of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes with a wide range of traditional looking designs.

Seven homes at the development have now been sold off plan and Baker Estates is expecting a high level of interest to continue.

Head of sales at Baker Estates, Annie Williams, explains: “We are pleased with our off plan sales and the show home launch was a success. This is the first-time buyers have been able to see the quality of our homes on this development. We will now look forward to welcoming more buyers to Trayne Farm.”

Councillor Ian Roome said; “The quality of the show home was outstanding, and a lot of careful consideration has been given to the design and structure of Baker Estates’ homes. This development will also bring much needed affordable and social housing to the area.”

Baker Estates is offering the Government’s hugely popular Help to Buy scheme at Trayne Farm which will enable buyers to need only a 5% deposit in order to purchase a property. With the government loaning buyers up to 20%, and the rest a mortgage, a new home could be yours.

The starting price for the Honeysuckle is £459,995.
