After more than 30 years living in a four-storey townhouse in Teignmouth, retired medical secretary Lynne Sanders has found her perfect forever home at Baker Estates' Turnpike Fields development in Chudleigh Knighton.
Now in her late 60s, Lynne decided the time was right to move while she was still fit and active, choosing a home that would suit her needs for years to come.
"I wanted to move while I still had my health and a home that was future-proof and would allow me to enjoy retirement."

It was the setting, however, that truly won her over. "I was wowed by the breathtaking views of the countryside and fields in the distance."

She has also been impressed by the design and quality of the property. "It's a very modern design and I love the large lounge with the French doors leading outside. I have French doors leading outside where I can sit and look out towards the magnificent oak tree in the distance."
Lynne added: “I was really impressed by the amount of storage throughout the property, as well as the quality of the finishes and fixtures. It’s the little details that really make a difference, such as the generous number of power points, including USB charging points, and the excellent provision of storage, including a dedicated cycle store/shed.
“The good-sized patio, which serves both the kitchen/diner and lounge, is another thoughtful feature, while the comprehensive property and developer information file provided to homeowners on handover day is a particularly useful touch.”
Lynne also praised the Baker Estates team for making the buying process straightforward from start to finish. "The Baker Estates team were fantastic throughout my buying journey. Debs kept me informed every step of the way and I couldn't fault the aftercare team. They are absolutely first class."
