South west housebuilder Baker Estates has appointed Graham Hutton as Managing Director.
Exeter-based Graham, who has played a key role in the company’s development for 10 years, takes over from founder Ian Baker, who takes up the position of Executive Director.
Previously Deputy Managing Director, Graham brings extensive experience across the housebuilding sector and a strong understanding of the regional property market.
He joined Baker Estates in 2016 as Development Director, having previously held senior positions at Midas Homes and Linden Homes, where he was Group Technical Director. He was promoted to Operations Director at Baker Estates in 2021 before becoming Deputy Managing Director.
Baker Estates has established a strong reputation for delivering high-quality homes and thoughtfully designed developments while building lasting relationships with the communities it serves.
Founded in 2015, Baker Estates has grown to employ more than 75 people at its Newton Abbot headquarters. The company has sold 1,600 homes across the South West, with over 700 in the planning pipeline. It currently has properties for sale across nine developments, with a further eight sites in construction or planning.
The business has also been recognised for the quality of its work, shortlisted for two prestigious national awards highlighting its flagship Little Cotton Farm development in Dartmouth and the achievements of the team behind it.
