Staff at south west housebuilder Baker Estates in Newton Abbot have swapped their hard hats for horror hats this Halloween — all in the spirit of fundraising!
The team has gone all out with ghoulish costumes, creepy cobwebs, and plenty of pumpkin power to raise money for Rowcroft Hospice, as part of the housebuilder’s mission to raise £10,000 during its 10th anniversary year.
The office was transformed into a haunted house of fun — proving that Baker Estates really knows how to “build up” the Halloween spirit!
Annie Williams, Sales and Marketing Director at Baker Estates, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled (and a little terrified!) by everyone’s effort today. Our team spirit is frighteningly good, and it’s all for such an incredible cause. Rowcroft Hospice means so much to so many of us, and we’re determined to hit that £10,000 target in our 10th year. A massive thank you to everyone who’s donated — it’s been a scream!”
A spokesperson from Rowcroft Hospice added: We’re so grateful to Baker Estates for their ongoing support and creativity! Their Halloween fundraiser is just another example of how they go above and beyond for the community — they’ve certainly made fundraising look spooktacular!”
The Baker Estates team has been busy throughout the year hosting a series of fundraising events — from a golf event, running, bake sales to bike rides — all in aid of Rowcroft. Their Halloween hijinks are just the latest trick (and treat!) in its 12 months calendar of charity fun.
So, if you spot a zombie around Newton Abbot this week… don’t be scared — they’re just raising spirits for a good cause!
