Verity Williams, daughter of Baker Estates’ Head of Technical Sarah Williams, recently completed the annual Okehampton College sponsored walk across Dartmoor, raising £75 in the process.
The charity walk raises money for Tor Support Services, the Air Ambulance and Water Aid. Verity walked 10 miles over Dartmoor to complete the walk, which had to be postponed by a week due to bad weather.
The testing route involves walking onto Dartmoor before returning to the college. Approximately 1400 students and staff took part in the popular event, which is organised by Okehampton College.
