Baker Estates scores another hat-trick of Pride in the Job Quality awards

Following on from last year’s success, three site managers from Baker Estates, have been given one of the highest accolades in the construction industry. Robin Palmer, Brian Kelly and Tristan Watts have won Pride in the Job Quality awards from the National House Building Council (NHBC).

Ian Baker, Managing Director at Baker Estates, said: “Robin, Brian and Tristan have all been given the recognition of their commitment to quality and impeccable site management. A special mention must also go to Paul Greenaway our Build Manager who has supported the site teams tirelessly over the last twelve months.

“I am sure that all three would want me to thank every single member of the Baker Estates team for their contribution, as without the teamwork and commitment, these awards would not have been possible.

“Pride in the Job Quality Awards say a great deal about what we are aiming to achieve at Baker Estates and the ongoing progress we are making.

“Being selected as one of the UK’s top site managers is a testament to their commitment to delivering quality homes for our customers. Pride in the Job is the most highly regarded competition in the house-building industry, and we are delighted for them all.”

Brian Kelly, who is the site manager at Baker Estates’ development at Meadowbrook in Callington, added: “It’s very satisfying to be recognised by NHBC. I take an enormous amount of pride in every site I work on and see this as very much a team award.”

Judging for the Awards is rigorous, with each site manager assessed across six key areas including consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety.
