Baker Estates is proud to announce it has raised over £17,000 for Rowcroft Hospice following a year-long programme of community and fundraising activities, held to mark the company’s 10th anniversary in 2025. The company had set out to raise £10,000 but went above and beyond its target.
Throughout the anniversary year, the Baker Estates team, alongside local residents, charities, partners and supporters, took part in a wide range of initiatives designed to support the vital work of Rowcroft Hospice.
Activities included community events, a workplace bake off, charity running challenges, site-based fundraisers and staff-led initiatives, all reflecting Baker Estates’ long-standing commitment to giving back to the communities in which it builds.
One of the standout highlights of the fundraising programme was the Baker Estates’ Anniversary Golf Day, which brought together staff, subcontractors, friends and supporters. Adding a memorable and entertaining twist to the event, a top Donald Trump impersonator hosted the charity auction, helping to drive bids and boost donations through a lively and engaging performance that proved a real talking point among attendees.
Rowcroft Hospice provides specialist end-of-life care and support to patients and families across South Devon, and the funds raised will help ensure these essential services can continue for those who need them most.

Rowcroft does incredible work for individuals and families across our region, and we are immensely proud to have raised over £17,000 to support their vital services. This achievement reflects the generosity and enthusiasm of our team, our partners and the wider community, and we’d like to thank everyone who took part or donated throughout the year.”
