The season may have only just finished, but the players of Ottery St Mary FC U9s are already counting down the days until they can pull on their brand-new kit for the upcoming campaign.
The young team, who compete Exeter & District Youth League East, have received new playing kits thanks to sponsorship from local housebuilder Baker Estates, ensuring they will look the part when they take to the pitch next season.
The sponsorship reflects Baker Estates' ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots sport and local community organisations across the South West.
Adam Connett, Manager of Ottery St Mary FC U9s, said: "We're incredibly grateful to Baker Estates for sponsoring our new kits. The boys are absolutely thrilled with them and can't wait to wear them when the new season gets underway. Support from local businesses makes a huge difference to grassroots football clubs like ours, helping us provide opportunities for young players to develop their skills, build confidence and, most importantly, enjoy the game.”
Annie Williams, Sales and Marketing Director at Baker Estates, said: "We are delighted to support Ottery St Mary FC U9s and help provide the team with their new kit. “This sponsorship reflects our commitment to supporting local communities close to our developments, The Acorns and The Oaks in Honiton."
“Grassroots football plays an important role in bringing communities together, helping young people develop confidence, teamwork and lifelong friendships. We wish the team every success for the season ahead and look forward to following their progress.”
Ottery St Mary FC continues to provide opportunities for young players to develop their football skills in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment, with teams competing across a range of age groups.
The club is now looking forward to another exciting season in the Honiton Youth League, with players eager to showcase both their talent and their new colours on the pitch.
