Baker Estates has announced its sponsorship of Bideford Bowls Club, reinforcing the award-winning housebuilder’s continued support for local bowls clubs across the South West.
The donation from Baker Estates will help fund new equipment for the club, ensuring it continues to thrive as a welcoming hub for local bowls enthusiasts and visitors alike.
The sponsorship comes as Baker Estates is building new bungalows at Chapel Green, its new development at East the Water. The development is due to welcome its first residents later this year, with the housebuilder hoping many new homeowners will become involved in the local community through clubs such as Bideford Bowls Club.
Annie Williams, Sales and Marketing Director at Baker Estates, said: “We are delighted to support Bideford Bowls Club, which is just a short drive away from Chapel Green. The club has a rich history and plays a vital role in bringing the community together. By sponsoring the club, we hope to contribute to its ongoing success and encourage more people to take up and enjoy the sport of bowls in the area.”
Bideford Bowls Club President Carol Rockey added: “We are extremely grateful to Baker Estates for its generous sponsorship and support of our club. As a long-established part of the local community, we are always looking for ways to improve the facilities and experience we can offer our members and visitors, and this funding will make a real difference.”
Both parties are hoping the sponsorship will not only highlight the company’s commitment to supporting local communities but also help the club attract new members and visitors in the future.
Baker Estates has a long-standing reputation for supporting local organisations, sports clubs and community initiatives across the South West, helping to create thriving and connected communities alongside its new homes.
