Full Time Sales Executive for Devon & Cornwall

Purpose of the role:

To deliver strong sales performance, achieving optimal selling prices whilst maintaining Company standards and delivering high standards of customer service.

Personal Profile:

·         Must have new homes sales experience

·         Excellent communication skills

·         IT literate

·         Ability to work independently and as part of the team to drive a common goal

·         Thrives on challenge, is resilient and driven to achieve personal and organisational targets 

·         Communicates and negotiates persuasively – capable of influencing others assertively, building rapport with customers 

·         Experience of delivering sales in a service environment; ideally housebuilding, estate agency 

·         Commercially astute with a good understanding of the market and competitors 

·         Encourages and supports people in the team, sharing knowledge and best practice 

·         Flexible with working pattern, must be able to work weekends and bank holidays 

Key tasks

 ·         Look after all prospective/ existing purchasers in a welcoming, professional, and efficient manner, delivering exceptional customer service 

 ·         Provide expertise in the Company’s house types, specification, extras and procedures 

 ·         Match BE and Government schemes available to seek and secure the maximum possible sales, ensuring that all customers are fully qualified 

 ·         Effectively manage the CRM database 

 ·         Refer to recommended IFA and Panel solicitors, managing transaction and sales progression to ensure timely completions 

 ·         Ensure that all paperwork and site administration is up to date and completed within the deadlines

 ·         Apply knowledge of all legal requirements e.g. PMA, CML, H&S, DPA, Money Laundering, Consumer code

 ·         Take responsibility for maintaining the presentation of show homes and sale offices to the agreed standard and ensure that adequate on and off-site signage is maintained

 ·         Maintain effective relationships with internal colleagues and external contacts, in particular, Sales Manager and Site Manager

 ·         Contribute PR/Case Studies/Marketing proposals to Sales Manager 

 ·         Conduct local and market research, and competitor analysis to demonstrate up to date and extensive knowledge and awareness of the local area, amenities and current market

 ·         Review website and all property portals to ensure information is correct/up to date and notify the Sales Manager with suggested amendments
